The landscape changes at each step of the way. Rocky gardens dotted with uníque sculptures
overlook seas of flowers undulating ín the breeze. Further along, the meadows give way to
pristine forests that reach for the sky.
The vegetation acts as a sponge in this shallow soil, channeling the waters back to the springs.
During the summer, the streams pour into the rivers, swelling into cascades and bringing forth
e lush green fields once again.
In the winter, the greenery gives way to thousands of colors, as the towers reign in the prairies.
The Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park is the main conservation unit and highlight
among the ecotourism attractions in the region, covering an area of 60 thousand hectares.

of endemic plant and animal species.
The facilities consist of a main office, visitors center, and scenic lookout points.

municipality of Alto Paraíso. This is a place for hiking and bathing in the rivers and waterfalls.
